1.30 p.m. The Evolution of the Global Lemon Industry during the 21st Century.

 

Over the past decade, the global lemon industry has experienced significant changes including:

 

        • Contraction and expansion of production capacities

        • Decline and enhancement of growing regions

        • Improved processing technology

        • Reduced reliance on agricultural chemicals

        • Large shifts in supply & demand

        • Significant price fluctuations


The presentation will review the changes in the lemon industry over the past decade as well as what we might be able to expect for the future.

Suzy Nolan graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Biology in 1985. She spent 11 years at Tropicana in Bradenton, Florida in various Technical Management Roles. Suzy also owned and managed SourceLink, LLC which was focused primarily on the sales and distribution of Lemon products from Argentina. Currently, she is the General Manager of Lionel Hitchen USA, Ltd., based in Sarasota, Florida.

Discover the history of chocolate and the process from bean to bar with plenty of chocolate tasters along the way

 

• Discover the difference between good and bad quality chocolate

• Sample some of our exotically flavoured chocolate including cardamom
white and chilli orange dark chocolate

• Sample a shot of Spanish Hot Chocolate
